Hawkins said one resident is believed to be inside the house, but the fire department was unable to make safe entry. He said the other resident was not home at the time of the fire.
“It would be a difficult entry due to the amount of fire that was involved,” Hawkins said.
Multiple fire divisions and tankers responded to the scene, including Bethel Twp., Wright-Patt, Huber Heights and Pike Twp.
The state fire marshal is on the way to the scene, Hawkins said.
